Rupiah Try Away from 13,300 Level

JAKARTA - The rupiah against the US dollar continued to strengthen, even today the majority of rupiah moved below the level of Rp 13,300 per US dollar.

Based on Bloomberg data, on Monday (22/06/2015) rupiah was at USD 13 292 at 11:10 pm. Movement of dollars since the beginning of the opening at 09:05 until 11:47 o'clock in the range of USD 13 278-Rp 13,332 per US dollar.

Meanwhile, the exchange rate of Bank Indonesia rupiah gained 6 points to USD 13 318 from the previous day position Rp 13 324 per US dollar.

Analyst PT NH Korindo Securities Indonesia Priyambada Reza said, the rate of the rupiah is able to move higher as news began easing sentiment rise in the Fed's benchmark rate is accelerated.

"As usual also, after meeting of the Fed, the rate of the rupiah has the opportunity to be able to continue strengthening," said Reza.
